Meet Tymur Shymov: Collaborative designer with a passion for turning ideas into purposeful, people-centered spaces.
Yet another new addition to the Signal Works team last December 10, 2024—Tymur (pronounced Teemor). His background, skills, and enthusiasm make him a perfect fit for our studio. We’re particularly excited about Tym’s potential to become a team-driven asset on our Revit projects, a cornerstone of our work at Signal Works.
Tym’s familiarity with our culture and projects is already impressive. Having previously collaborated with Sam, Tym brings valuable insights into the Eden Park project, where he contributed during its initial phases. His deep understanding of design, paired with his collaborative mindset, ensures a seamless transition into our team.

What’s your favorite place to be or that you’ll always love?
I have a number of places I love, but over the recent years, my favorite has become the small town where I currently reside. It’s a community-oriented place with a lot of activities, making it a really special spot for me.
How did that place impact your life-goals?
I’ve made a lot of great friends here, many of whom are always working on interesting projects. Seeing their passion and drive motivates me to pursue my own goals and stay focused on my personal growth.
What principle do you bring to your work?
I value collaboration and continuous learning in my work. I believe that working well with others and staying open to new ideas leads to success. By constantly learning and improving, I can keep growing both professionally and personally
What’s a greater purpose of architecture you’re passionate about?
The greater purpose of architecture for me is to create spaces that bring people together, improve well being, and are kind to the environment.
What’s your favorite part of the design process? / What’s do you think is the most interesting part of architecture?
My favorite part of the design process is seeing the building come to life after spending so much time putting together a drawing set. It’s incredibly rewarding to watch an idea evolve from a set of plans into a real, tangible space, with all the details coming together
