FUN FACTS ABOUT JULIO
What’s your favorite place to be or that you’ll always love?
I will always love Philadelphia
How did that place impact your life-goals?
I met a lot of great people with big ideas and big personalities while attending the Tyler School of Art and Architecture at Temple University both inside and outside of the program. Having a great group of people from around the world with you ready to offer friendship and conversation taught me you can make a friend anywhere.
What principle do you bring to your work?
I will always challenge myself by learning something new and trying my best. Whether it be architecture, real estate, or property management; there are always skills to learn and utilize across each other.
What’s a greater purpose of architecture you’re passionate about?
Social representation. Architecture is not always open to everyone. The more we can involve the under represented, the more often we will hear new and innovative ideas.
What’s your favorite part of the design process? / What do you think is the most interesting part of architecture?
My favorite part of the process is doing research on successful examples and precedents based on the needs of the project. The process of remixing those ideas for current needs is exciting and satisfying.
Can you tell us about some cool projects and awards you’ve gotten over the years?
I have worked with clients in helping them renovate unused spaces in their home to give it purpose for their growing family or for it to be rented for additional cashflow.
Looking Ahead
We are thrilled to have Julio on board and look forward to seeing his contributions to Signal Works. Whether it’s assisting with existing conditions in our studio projects or streamlining property management operations, we know he will be a great asset to our team.
